the different between UV and MC UV is the surface coated layer
UV= ultra violet filter
MC UV= multi coated ultra violet filter
the main different of UV and MC UV is the lens flare appearance 
and percentage of light that can pass through the filter.
MC UV allowed 97~99 percent of light go through the filter
while UV just allowed 95 percent.
but main purpose of UV and MC UV is to protect your lens for DLSR today
